OUR PASSION FORSTAINED GLASS

Metalwork may come across as a bit of a boys thing, but I can assure you working with this material is challenging and can be as gentle looking as you choose. My personal favourite is Steam Punk and I would love to work on a commission piece for your work or home.
Stained Glass can bring a new lease of life to an old door, window, table, or just on its own as a Hanging Glass decoration. Whichever you are considering, let me help you bring your design to life.
My Stained Glass Window Course is based in Devon at my own tranquil smallholding. Here you will spend the entire day designing, creating and taking home your very own piece of Stained Glass. Please book as an individual or a group and start thinking about what you would like to design.
When it comes to commission pieces, I get super excited. There is nothing better than seeing your idea turned into a living piece of art for you to enjoy at home or work. So we meet in person or virtually to discuss your concept. Agree on a final design and whether it is for yourself or a gift.
Once I have fully understood the idea, the story behind it and discussed any possible materials with you; I can start to sketch out the full concept, pulling in where the materials will come from as well as timeframes for the commission.
My favourite part of the journey; the actual build! Working with so many materials in my workshop, I can utilise the ones that suit the brief the best. Some commissions may be presented to me with firm ideas in the owner’s mind, but turning them into reality may sometimes need different materials to make it work.
Once your commission piece is finished, we can discuss whether you collect or we organise a careful shipping of the item to you. I absolutely love seeing all your faces when you see your sketched artwork transformed into a 3d piece of art. If you would like to talk to me about commission pieces, please do get in touch.
I studied as a student of Miss Nina Perrott, who taught me the fine art of Stained glass over the past few years.
I found her to be the most understanding and caring of peoples needs and strength, whilst conducting her classes in a controlled and pleasant working ethic. Therefore I have no hesitation in recommending such a fine tutor, (and now personal friend) for any role within teaching, she will make a knowledgeable and positive impact and become a true asset.

I was taught stained glass by Nina for a year. I gained so much knowledge, understanding, and new techniques from her classes. She is a really artistic, creative and supportive teacher.
She is always patient and helpful as well as being full of amazing ideas. It was a very mixed class in abilities, backgrounds and ages. She took it all in her stride with time and encouragement for each project and person. She would always take time to make sure projects were finished properly, often giving up her own time.
I would highly recommend her teaching skills and would be happy to be taught by her again, if only we lived in the same area.

I have been a student in Nina’s stained glass evening courses for four years.
Nina is an excellent teacher, she has helped and given me guidance on many projects. With Nina’s expertise I have achieved a number of stained glass things, a fire screen, a mosaic table and a sun catcher. These are just some of the things I have done.Nina is a very creative person, she is very patient and encouraging.
